Welcome to Western Shore Dental Hygienists’ Association (WSDHA)

WSDHA is a local component of the Maryland Dental Hygienists’ Association which is a constituent of the American Dental Hygiene Association. The Association is a professional organization which represents registered dental hygienists who live or practice in Anne Arundel County. Our local component offers continuing education courses for re-licensure, contributes to community service projects and, networking for our members.

Mission statement:

To improve the public’s total health, the mission of ADHA is to advance the art and science of dental hygiene by ensuring access to quality oral health care, increasing awareness of the cost-effective benefits of prevention, promoting the highest standards of dental hygiene education highest standards, licensure, practice, and research and representing and promoting the interests of dental hygienists.
